Inspired by the beauty of the boreal forest, Elizabeth Page is a Canadian writer living in Northwestern Ontario. A graduate of The Writer's Studio at Simon Fraser University. Her writing has received recognition, including second prize for the 2018 Northwestern Ontario Writers Workshop's Bill MacDonald Prize for Prose. Additionally, her poetry was longlisted for the 2019 CBC Poetry Prize. Her published work has appeared in Polar Starlight, NOWW Magazine, and Emerge20. Beyond fiction, she contributes articles to parenting websites, exploring topics like complex relationships, blended families, and the unique adventures of raising boys. She has also served as a juror for the Ontario Arts Council (OAC) Northern Ontario Arts grants. Elizabeth is currently immersed in a collection of poetry and creative nonfiction that explores intersections of life in the north and the complexities of the relationships that connect us.
